Im Elblandklinikum Riesa fand vom 14. bis 17. Januar 2026 unter der Leitung von Chefarzt Dr. Petr Sergeev, Dr. Igor Ehrmann und Dr. Mariia Nedoshitova der 4. praktische Workshop zur endoskopischen Submukosadissektion (ESD) mit Schwerpunkt auf der kolorektalen ESD statt. An der Veranstaltung nahmen internationale Ärzte teil.
Im Rahmen des Workshops wurden sechs Live-ESD-Demonstrationen mit Diskussion der Interventionstechniken durchgeführt sowie ein praktisches Training an Schweinemagen- und Dickdarmmodellen. Zu den behandelten Themen zählten die Indikationen für die ESD, verwendete Instrumente und Zubehör, grundlegende Techniken sowie die pathologische Beurteilung der Resektaten.

From January 14 to 17, 2026, the Elblandklinikum Riesa hosted the 4th Practical Workshop on Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), with a particular focus on colorectal ESD. The course was led by Chief Gastroenterologist Dr. Petr Sergeev, Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr. Igor Ehrmann, and Dr. Mariia Nedoshitova, and was attended by international participants.
The program featured six live ESD cases accompanied by detailed discussions of interventional techniques, as well as hands-on training using porcine stomach and colon models. The theoretical curriculum covered indications for ESD, instruments and accessories, fundamental ESD techniques, and the pathological evaluation of resected specimens.
The workshop was highly successful and, due to strong demand, will be offered again in June 2026. Further details are available on the Elblandklinikum Riesa website.
